Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Coloro ("we", "our") and govern your use of coloro.io and any related services. By using the site you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

You may use Coloro only if you can form a legally binding contract under the laws of your country of residence. If you are below the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (16 in most of the EU; 13 in the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain and most of Latin America; 14 in Germany), a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the service.

By using the site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that, where required, you have permission to do so.

2. The Service

Coloro provides (a) a library of free printable coloring pages, (b) an AI generator that produces unique coloring pages from a text prompt, (c) an online coloring editor, and (d) a community gallery for users to share artwork. The service is offered free of charge, subject to fair-use limits described in the application and these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including the daily AI generation quota.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to create, share or solicit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, that depicts minors in a sexualised manner, that promotes violence or hatred, or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • circumvent rate limits, scrape the site at scale, or use automated tools to bulk-download images;
  • resell, redistribute or relicense our coloring pages or AI generations on a stand-alone basis (e.g. as paid downloads, NFTs, AI training data, or worksheet bundles);
  • impersonate another person or entity;
  • introduce malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the service.

We use automated and human review to detect prohibited content. We may remove material and suspend accounts that violate this section.

4. User Content & Gallery

When you upload artwork to the gallery or otherwise submit content ("User Content"), you keep ownership of it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for display purposes (e.g. resizing) and link the User Content from Coloro pages and from our official social channels, for as long as you keep the content public on the site.

You represent that you authored the User Content or have all necessary rights, and that posting it does not infringe any third-party rights. You can request removal at any time by writing to us; we will action verified requests within a reasonable period (typically 14 days).

5. AI-Generated Content

The AI generator uses third-party large multimodal models. Generations are produced from your prompt and our system instructions. You are responsible for the prompts you submit; do not submit prompts that violate Section 3.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to the resulting image on the same terms as the rest of the library (see the License page). Note that under current copyright law in many jurisdictions — including the United States (USPTO/Copyright Office guidance, 2023–2025), the United Kingdom (CDPA 1988 s.9(3) authorship test for computer-generated works), Germany (UrhG §2 II "personal intellectual creation"), Spain (TRLPI Art. 10) and most Latin American countries — purely AI-generated images may not be eligible for exclusive copyright protection. We make no warranty as to the copyright status of any AI-generated output.

Generations may resemble existing works due to the statistical nature of the underlying models. Do not use generations that materially reproduce a recognisable third-party work, character or trademark.

6. Intellectual Property

The Coloro brand, logo, code, page layouts, category descriptions and the curation of the library are the property of Coloro or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade-mark and database-right laws. The library of coloring pages is licensed to you under the License page; ownership remains with the original creators.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you except for the limited licences expressly granted.

7. Fees & Free Tier

The service is currently provided free of charge with a fair-use AI generation quota. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, current free-tier quotas may change; we will give prior notice on the site before reducing them. No payment is required to access the existing library or the online editor.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that AI generations will match your prompt or be free of artefacts.

This section does not exclude any warranties or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law (e.g. statutory warranties under the EU Sale of Goods Directive, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, or Brazil's Código de Defesa do Consumidor).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coloro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including the rights consumers have in the EU/UK and under LATAM consumer-protection regimes).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Coloro and its officers, employees and contractors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or (b) User Content you submitted, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion via the Contact page. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

Unless your local mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be brought before the courts of London, United Kingdom.

If you reside in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable consumer-protection rules. EU consumers may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If you reside in the United States, federal arbitration rules do not apply by default; either party may bring claims in small-claims court where eligible. Residents of Brazil and other Mercosur jurisdictions retain the protections of their local consumer code (e.g. CDC) regardless of this clause.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
